Summary of Semester I

All went smoothly until the ELEVATOR PITCH… It was really a ride to prepare for. Overall, the semester was very well structured, informative and integrated. The company projects were the most highlighting and outstanding areas for me.

 

Some tips:

• Be punctual
• Don’t miss too many classes even though the lectures are on black board
• Start all module task during week one
• Presentations come in daily doses. Prepare well for it and speak confidently!
• Literature reviews can be a plague, plagiarism is terminal
• Build a proper module foundation before entering companies
• Make the most at companies – network, apply taught modules, think out of the box, LEARN new things, make quality and real recommendations. Remember first impression is always the last impression.
• Exploit a hobby; sometimes you will need a stress reliever
